Personally, I'd remove the nudes on the grounds that:
1. Vrezh is apparently [excessively young], something I had not realized previously .
2. I would like to be associated with a forum that generally disapproves of posting porn, thereby distinguishing myself from run of the mill [USC fans].
3. If the club ever wants to get a CUP, or have its public face investigated by neighbors as indication of general adherance to community value, this thread will be of great use to mortal enemies.
4. There is no picture of a (giraffe] to thrill the [zoologically inclined] members.
I call for a count of the [collectors] who enjoy [French postcards]. Post below please.

I'll be the first (maybe only) one to admit I enjoyed the posts.
That said - I also agree that these pictures should be removed due to possible harm to the club and also could be considered offensive to some/many members of the club or the general public.
I also think that you comments were a little harsher than they needed to be.

You should know a sailor wouldn't have deleted them (glad to see we're in the same boat Jeff). Stole them maybe, but not deleted.
I probably would have just "linked" them with the URL tag instead of displayed them with the IMG tag. Food for thought.
Christian, wouldn't your post be equally sophomoric? Pretending to be above the fray? If it's the CUP you're concerned with, aren't your comments about Vrezh "inappropriate" and better left for a PM?

Let's set the record straight:
I saw the photos and the comments that they inspired. I don't think the pics were pornographic but I don't think they were universally appreciated. I agreed that it may be offensive to other members. Maybe a new thread should have been started with the title "nudie female pilots." At least people that didn't care to see them wouldn't be surprised in the midst of a posting with me as the author. If they had been posted in a members only section acccessed only by members with a more secure logon/password than "members", it would probably be OK.
However, on an open, public forum that members of the Sylmar Land Use Committee, employees of our local politicians and interested strangers have been invited to access for information, I didn't think it was a good idea. I called a board member and asked to have the photos removed.
Go ahead and scream "censorship" and quote your First Amendment rights and get your name-calling over. Then move on.
