who went 40+ miles from avenue S on sunday?!!!

The particpants were Phil Bloom, me and GREG KENDALL, not JT. Danny Black also started the trip with us but I believe he landed short of Ave L. I'm not really sure where he landed - ask Jay.
The rest of us flew along the L range past several lakes, with the last one being Quail Lake, I believe. We crossed over highway 5 and things looked real bad from there so we just landed about 1/2 mile west of the highway. Good landings were had by all with Greg choosing a very nice (if somewhat remote) LZ. Our final position was just North of Pyrimid Lake.
