Barton,
please advise me what my crime was...coming a day early? I wasn't there last year, that was 2 years ago.

I intend to arrive early, so if you need a space let me know. My current plan it to show up Thursday, mid-day.
Fly High; Fly Far; Fly Safe -- George
The Trip is in the Bag
Pilots flew Saturday and Sunday with stand-in Site Monitor Joey pitching in to help Barton, who unexpectedly found himself preoccupied with personal business. Two newbies, including Jeff, got to make their first flights there. I supplied pilots with toasts of Walmart's cheapest champagne. Everyone who set-up flew, and nobody got hurt.
The raft trip gave everyone time to reflect on life and friendship, only to find that fires to the west had filled the Valley with smoke by evening. The blood-red sunset gave fitting tribute to the weekend, and almost all of us went home happy!
