If you want to go quickly, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.
If you go together, you'll go far, quickly.

I heard this somewhere, but when I had one of my best days of flying the above was easy to apply.

Phil, Rob, Mike Rafferty, Loren and I flew To Big T; Loren and Rob continued to Lukens. Rob was on my Lightspeed, I was on my U2, Mike Rafferty was on my Freedom, Phil and Loren were on Sport two's. It was comfortable being with people that had experience going there; took a lot of wondering out of the game.

An aristocracy in a republic is like a chicken whose head has been cut off; it may run about in a lively way, but in fact it is dead.

..Hang gliding is the best thing I have found to do with my time. I could write pages trying to explain it, but I feel that is unnecessary. Like a religion, the people who need it find their way to it by their own means, for their own reasons. Some consider flying to be their religion...

..It is un-natural for a human to fly. Your brain will need to change from two-dimentional thought to three-dimentional thought. Most people who want to do it, can. Some cannot. ..
