Anybody know any shamanistic rituals we can do to get rid of these damn Santa Anas? If you do, lemme know.

We can meet in the LZ, do the ritual, eat mushrooms, dance around, what ever it takes.

I'm getting sick of this nonsense!

I had always understood that smoking was a waist because the psilocybin gets burnt, decreasing the trip.

It was lonely over Edwards Bowl and the Lookout Restaurant on Friday. But the scenery was nonetheless very nice. All 90 minutes of it.

Nice sunset music. I like the pizzicato strings.
Some ask if Newt Gingrich eats mushrooms yet his plan to colonize the moon would allow it to become the 51st U.S. state once its colonists numbered 13,000. Yet I wonder if those colonists would be envious of the Santa Anna winds because their is no air on the moon, or is there? Would the moon be added to region 3 in the Ushpa?

Whoever did the JuJu dance on Friday or Saturday, I just want to say thanks!

The Santa Anas were gone by the time I got to the Kagel LZ this early Sunday afternoon. Everyone and their brother showed up to fly, and what a great day of flying it turned out to be! Climbs to 5K, 2 hour flights, beautiful weather - we could not have asked for more.

I don't know what kind of a dance you did, but whatever it was, could you do it again next Friday?

A group of engineers went out into the desert and northern California with a set of portable sodium cooled portable nuclear generators. We connected the output voltage to the wind turban farms and drove the turbines in reverse mode in an effort to slow the clock wise rotation of the high pressure system.
The north farm aiming the thrust west and the south farm aiming the thrust east. In addition the Haarp antenna array in Alaska was aimed and deployed onto the ionosphere above the high pressure zone in an effort to heat and raise the pressure cell into lower earth orbit. Looks like it was just enough. For a good days flying.

Phenomenal day, last minute details notwithstanding. I bet you were still grinning even still. Just one of those great days. Everyone had fun! No one got hurt. Everyone got to work on their skills, including me. Had some minor break throughs up there, flying with my buds. Glad you made it out!

Angle looks like it's bettter for stills, very shaky for the video. Would like to see the mount. Maybe not stiff enough? Or the moment is just so far out there it's too difficult to dampen the vibration?

Nice way to really let the glider settle on that looooong final.
