It would have happened sooner, but Robert has been going up to San Jose every other week for the past few months. He had been splitting duties in taking care of his sister, who had been battling cancer. She had a glioblastoma and passed away on October 10.

Robert has contacted Lifesaver and as promised, will set a date in mid December.

For those of you who signed up for this class, I look forward to getting the certificate with you.

For your information, there is nothing romantic about dying.

pi-hsuan, i'm sorry to hear the news. i don't think any of us find death romantic. (?!) it's just that the original post was from july! by november, i'd written it off. glad to hear that it's a go. unfortunately, my work schedule is so insane right now that i won't be able to do a cpr training until the summer.

and it IS true: Land right, or die!

The thread was started in July, an exact date wasn't set up. If my memory serves me well, it was being looked at for late August, or early September; due to the fact I was in Taiwan, and wouldn't be back until late August.

The date for taking the BLS coarse will be after mid December, Possibly early January due to the holidays.

We have seven at this point, which is enough to have "Lifesaversed" to come to our sight.

If there is anyone else interested, BLS is an experience that can assist you anywhere you are.

The CPR class is finally going to happen on the second Saturday in April. Here's the list of people who said they'd be interested. Please add your name to the list if you would like to attend. The cost will be $45 per pilot. The training will include BLS/CPR and some basic trauma first aid. Plan on a morning session, 8AM-12PM, a one hour break for lunch, then first aid training from 1-4Pm. The cost will be $45 per person.
