300 series stainless steel is only slightly magnetic. If a magnet sticks to it normally, it's probably not stainless. If it is stainless, it will probably fall off.

I bought some decals today to label the storage. As approved by Rob, the new storage will be box "C". The tubes inside will be # 1 - 8 starting at the top left. I used a sharpie to temporarily write some small numbers on them today that I will cover with the labels next time I go out.

I put my Saturn 167 in my tube (C - 3) and it just fit with about 5 inches to spare. It's a pretty long packed glider, so most others should be fine.

There is a lock on door C - 2, next to mine which prevents my door from opening all the way. Since these doors are very tightly spaced, we should avoid using that kind of lock, the shackle is too wide. It's the type with the rolling numbers and letters that you can change, kind of barrel shaped with a very wide shackle.

I located the two stainless (torch proof) doors today, and I think they are both unclaimed so far. If you want one, you have to find it yourself - you have to earn it. You can be an elite and hold your nose high. There is one on the top row and one on the bottom.

Yes there is a metal roof training session this Thursday at Custom-Bilt Metals in Chino for those who want to learn how to install this type of roof. After speaking to Karl Vinokur on Sunday, he convinced me that nobody else really needed to attend because he could train all unskilled volunteers from start to completion. He took measurements and will make the roof order himself when he has all the numbers ready.

On Friday, I came out and verified the fit of the fame I'm building for the next cell of tubes (C2). It will fit fine as long as we arrange them as shown in the photo below with four 15" tubes on the left and four 12" on the right. I also test the fit of my Saturn 167 in the 12" tube, and it fits. It's snug, but fits just fine. She's been doing a lot of cardio and is pretty cut right now, but your glider might be too fat after the holidays and all. If you think you might be using one of those, try it while they're open.

Daryl and I moved the extra 15" tubes to the cell on the other side of the pavilion. We need two more 12 inch tubes for cell C2. I'm not in any hurry to finish the doors, since we have empty tubes right now, but I'll be gradually getting it done.

Thanks for the update on the C-2 box. The other two 12" tubes were ordered last week from the same company I used for the others. At this point I have no idea when they are coming. This company (Ewing Irrigation) has the best prices but their customer service pretty much sucks. I assume that you can get the new doors installed with, or without the final 2 tubes.
