Dear SHGA Pilots, Family and Friends,

Mark your calendars! Our annual Dahlsten Cup 2025 is set for Saturday, September 13th at the Sylmar Flight Park. This is one of our most exciting and fun events of the year, and we hope you’ll join us!

Event Highlights:

Pilot’s Meeting: 10:30 AM sharp
Competition: Open Class (advanced pilots) & Sport Class (all others)
Trophies: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place etched beer mug trophies for each class
Spot Landing Contest & Air Hog Award (for the most airtime logged)
Food: A post-event celebration featuring Caruso’s Pizza — with plenty of varieties for everyone 🍕
This is always a fantastic day of flying, camaraderie, and community. Whether you’re competing, crewing, or just cheering from the LZ, we’d love to see you there!
